Semler Scientific Increases Its Holdings by 167 Bitcoin, Reaching a Total of 3,634 BTC

Last week, Semler Scientific (SMLR) increased its Bitcoin (BTC) holdings.
According to information filed with the SEC on Monday morning, the company purchased 167 BTC for $16.2 million, representing an average price of about $97,000 per unit.
The purchases are believed to have been funded primarily or entirely through the sale of common stock: the company reported selling 1.166 million shares for $39.8 million in its market offering on April 15 (SMLR previously disclosed bitcoin purchases on April 25 and April 30).
Semler currently holds 3,634 bitcoins, which were purchased for $322.3 million, or an average price of $88,668 per unit. With bitcoin currently trading at around $94,000, the holdings are valued at over $340 million.
