Bitcoin mining company MARA Holdings (MARA) has appointed Nir Rikovic as its new Chief Product Officer, tasking him with leading the company’s product line development and commercial strategy.
Rikovich will lead the company’s efforts to create a comprehensive product roadmap and establish a product discipline that connects engineering solutions with market needs.
“Nir’s exceptional experience in product management and autonomous technology development, where coordination, efficiency and reliability are key, makes him the ideal candidate to realize MARA’s product vision,” said Fred Thiel, CEO of the company.
Rikovich has extensive experience in machine learning and robotics. Most recently, he served as director of product management at Blue River, a John Deere subsidiary. There, he co-founded the company’s self-driving vehicle division and developed strategies for autonomous construction equipment and driver assistance systems.
Rikovich described the mission as one of aligning energy consumption with technological advances. “At MARA, we combine scale with smarter energy practices,” he said.
