HIVE Digital Technologies Ltd. has surpassed 16 exahash per second (EH/s) in global Bitcoin mining capacity, sustaining progress toward its goal of reaching 25 EH/s by U.S. Thanksgiving.
Since May, HIVE noted that its scaling efforts have more than doubled daily BTC production, now exceeding 8 BTC. This growth stems from rapid deployment of advanced Bitmain S21+ Hydro mining units at its Paraguay-based Yguazú facility, the company reported.

Phase 2 operations at the site currently contribute over 5 EH/s of mining power, with new equipment arriving weekly. HIVE revealed that Phase 3 will begin at its Valenzuela location in September. The completion of its fully financed growth strategy is projected to increase daily output to nearly 12 BTC, assuming current network difficulty levels.
The company anticipates enhancing its global operational efficiency to approximately 18.4 joules per terahash (J/TH). With Bitcoin priced near $113,000 and network difficulty at 129T, HIVE calculates its post-electricity mining margin remains near 60%.
Founded in 2017, HIVE Digital Technologies develops and manages energy-efficient blockchain and AI infrastructure powered entirely by hydropower across facilities in Canada, Sweden, and Paraguay. While its stock has declined 8% year-to-date, it has risen over 10% in the last five trading days.
HIVE maintains a $557 million market capitalization with 214,305,000 shares outstanding. Exclusive treasury figures for BTC miners indicate the firm holds approximately 610 BTC, worth more than $68 million.
