KuCoin Platform Unveils Mining Facility | INFbusiness

The KuCoin trading platform has introduced the KuPool mining center. As per RBC Crypto, the exchange shared that Chris Zhu, a co-creator of BTC.com (subsequently rebranded as Clover Pool) and Poolin, is leading this venture.

Presently, KuPool facilitates the mining of digital currencies utilizing the Scrypt algorithm. This encompasses Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bellscoin (BELLS), Pepe (PEPE), along with Luckycoin (LKY). Support for Bitcoin mining (SHA-256 algorithm) is anticipated to be implemented shortly.

The declaration highlights that KuPool is intertwined with both the KuMining cloud mining service and the KuCoin digital asset exchange. The integration of these three elements establishes a thorough, self-contained environment that includes hashrate creation, digital currency mining, and management of assets, according to the official statement.

According to the project’s team, KuPool employs encryption that is multi-layered, monitoring in real-time, and firm procedures for operational security. The platform additionally states that the dispersal of earnings among pool members is verifiable.

“KuPool has taken on the technological and expert strong points of established mining communities, reshaping the structure of the field to be more clear and centered on finance. We capitalize on the KuCoin worldwide environment and our extensive years of expertise to present users with dependable earnings,” voiced Chris Zhu.

KuCoin isn’t the pioneer in integrating a mining community within its framework. ViaBTC, one of the bigger pools, is joined with CoinEx, and Binance also features its own cryptocurrency mining solution, known as Binance Pool.

Previously, OKX maintained a mining community. In the early part of 2024, the exchange made public its shutdown, mentioning “modifications in business” as the rationale behind the decision.
