Bybit Releases Reserve Report
Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has published a fresh Proof of Reserves (PoR) report, independently audited by Hacken. The document covers 40 asset types and shows that each of them is more than 100% backed by reserves.
In line with Proof of Reserves transparency methods, Bybit makes its solvency “verifiable, not inferred,” with regular updates, according to the company. The latest snapshot also provides insight into key changes in holdings since the previous report on May 23, 2025, the exchange said.
The highest reserve ratio was recorded for the USDC stablecoin — 143%. Next comes the XRP cryptocurrency with a rate of 137% against 106% in May, which analysts attribute to the growing interest against the backdrop of the launch of the XRP-ETF. Total Ethereum reserves increased by 6% to 647,000 ETH, while Bitcoin reserves added 1.67%.
The report also reflects changes in the stablecoin sector. USDe reserves increased by 22.8%, reaching 545 million, with the reserve ratio at 105%.
In contrast, USDT volume fell by $386 million, but the backing increased to 104%. USD Coin stablecoin also saw a 1.72% decline in customer holdings to $399 million USDC.
Bybit emphasizes that it maintains reserves at a ratio greater than 1:1 for all assets it tracks. The exchange regularly publishes snapshots of its reserves and monthly independent audit reports, which it says meets high standards of transparency.
“Since 2024, the crypto industry has made significant strides in the adoption and standardization of PoR. The push for PoR has become more institutionalized, with leading CEXs setting the standard for critical trust-building mechanisms,” the company emphasized.
According to the Bybit team, such measures strengthen user trust and form the basis for a mature crypto economy.
The exchange also recalls that in February 2025, it published an unscheduled reserve report following a major security incident, thereby confirming its commitment to the principles of openness and accountability.
