Garantex Presents Method for Unlocking USDT

Cryptocurrency exchange Garantex has announced the development of a solution for users whose assets have been blocked.

Garantex offers clients with a positive balance on their accounts to undergo the access recovery procedure through a personal meeting in the Moscow office.

How to apply for asset unblocking

Garantex has organized face-to-face meetings with users who want to regain access to their USDT. To do this, clients need to submit an application through the official Telegram bot of the crypto exchange and undergo identification.

To confirm a meeting, the client will need to provide the following information:

• Full name under which the account is verified.
• The email address associated with the account.
• Phone number registered in the system.

The exchange warned that if incorrect data is provided, duplicate orders are created, or if the account balance is zero, the meeting will be cancelled.

According to the Garantex team, applications are being processed in real time. Additional meeting slots will be opened after the current verification stage is completed.

For users who cannot be present in Moscow or did not have time to submit an application, the company promises to organize additional notification about new opportunities for submitting applications.

What is happening with Garantex and how dangerous is it?

On March 6, Tether froze Garantex wallets, which held USDT worth over 2.5 billion rubles. The US Department of Justice confirmed the blocking of the crypto exchange's domains and funds. The American regulator stated that the Russian platform facilitated money laundering.

Garantex has been under sanctions since 2022. Despite the restrictions imposed by US law enforcement, the crypto platform's management continued to engage in criminal activity, investigators emphasized.

The Garantex team previously stated that Tether “has entered a war against the Russian crypto market,” calling USDT a dangerous and toxic asset for users from Russia. The crypto platform’s management emphasized that other Russian services may soon face the blocking of funds.
