OKX Burned Over 31 Million OKB

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX has completed its 27th stage of token burning. This time, it withdrew 31.16 million OKB from circulation, according to Dune Analytics.

At the time of writing, the amount of burned assets of the OKX crypto service was estimated at almost $1.4 billion. This figure became a record both in quantity and in total value.

The price of the OKB token on the OKX exchange is at $44.67, according to TradingView at the time of writing.

As of March 14, 2025, the number of tokens burned by the exchange exceeded 171 million OKB and constitutes 57.1% of the total supply of the asset, while there are almost 129 million OKB in circulation, according to Dune Analytics.

OKX has been burning every three months since 2019 as part of its program.

Let us recall that at the end of 2024, the Bitget exchange announced plans to burn 40% of the total supply of the BGB asset.

Later, the Cronos L1 solution announced the possibility of re-issuing burned tokens to place them in a strategic reserve.
