Winklevoss brothers: “capitalization of Bitcoin will exceed capitalization of gold”
During a fintech festival in Singapore, investors and billionaires Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss said the Bitcoin exchange rate would exceed $500 000.
The founders of the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini expect that the capitalization of Bitcoin should exceed a similar indicator of gold. So, the bitcoin market needs to grow 40 times. That is, the BTC rate should reach $500 000.
Capitalization of Bitcoin
Cameron Winklevoss stressed that various governments continue to “print money,” which will lead to higher inflation. Against this background, investments in protective assets, such as gold, are becoming more attractive. But Bitcoin offers significant advantages over valuable metal – BTC is much easier to move, and no one can influence the limitation of the number of coins.
The twins also recognized that, despite all the advantages offered by cryptocurrencies, there is a significant inequality in the use of digital assets in the world. In most countries of the world, there is no regulatory certainty regarding cryptocurrencies. Billionaires, however, expect a gradual improvement in the situation. Now the cryptocurrency industry is only at the beginning of development.

In August, the Winklvoss brothers already said that Bitcoin is much more reliable than gold, because the maximum amount of BTC is limited and is known in advance.
