Binance to Hold Delisting Vote

Binance to Hold Delisting Vote | INFbusiness

Cryptocurrency exchange Binance continues its “Vote to Delist” campaign. This time, users of the platform were asked to vote for the delisting of 17 tokens: FTT, JASMY, VOXEL, GPS, ZEC, STPT, ARK, ARDR, MBL, PERP, NKN, WING, LTO, FLM, BSW, ALPACA, and PDA.

The voting will take place on Binance Square from April 10 to April 16. To participate in the event, users must have a verified Binance account and hold at least 0.01 BNB. Each user can vote for five tokens, one vote per project.

And while Binance will take community feedback into account, the outcome of their vote will not be the deciding factor. The final decision on delisting will also be influenced by other aspects, such as project activity, liquidity, team responsiveness, and other risks.

After the first vote, the crypto exchange will stop supporting 14 tokens at once, including BAL, CREAM, SNT, HARD, TROY, UFT and FIRO. All of them will become unavailable to users from April 16. Among the reasons for the delisting, Binance representatives named the slow development of projects and low trading activity for the selected cryptocurrencies.
