At a panel at the Exchange Conference in Las Vegas, which brought together about 2,000 investment advisers and asset managers, Dominic Rizzo, global technology portfolio manager at R. Rowe Price (which manages more than $1 trillion in assets), said there has never been a better time to invest in Bitcoin.

He compared the price of bitcoin to a commodity and how investors should view it. “Bitcoin itself has been trading very close to its average mining cost. If you look at it as a traditional commodity, historically it’s a really good time to buy when the price is close to the cost of mining,” he said.
