Zodia Custody COO Samuel Howe Leaves Crypto Custody for Traditional Finance
Sam Hill will take over from Howe as chief operating officer of the London-based cryptocurrency custody firm.

Samuel Howe, chief operating officer of Zodia Custody, has left the London-based company to take a role in traditional finance (TradFi), the company announced.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Howe has held the position of COO for the past three months. He previously served as the head of operations at a crypto custodian.
“Sam has left the company to return to traditional finance, highlighting the shift in roles and skills between the crypto market and TradFi,” CEO Julian Sawyer said in an email. “He is being replaced by Sam Hill, who has been with us for the last 18 months.”
Howe had not responded to a request for comment by the time the article was published.
Before joining Zodia Custody, Howe headed cryptocurrency operations at hedge fund GSA Capital and previously served as COO at capital markets firm CoinShares (CS).
Before joining the crypto space, he worked for major banks such as HSBC and Kleinwort Hambros.
In 2020, Howe co-founded a private crypto hedge fund, for which he continues to advise.
