Huobi Global has returned 64.5 million USDT tokens to users who bought NFT on Huobi Prime.

Huobi Global staged an NFT token giveaway

Huobi Global unveiled the APENFT token (NFT) as part of another launch of the Huobi Prime platform. The NFT token sale began on Thursday, May 20, 2021. In the first ten minutes of listing, the token gained 3,800%, with the highest demand in Southeast Asia, the CIS and Turkey.

The APENFT token, powered by Ethereum and Tron blockchains, helps register artwork in the form of NFT. The project promises to become a link between artists and the crypto-industry, to help authors enter the NFT market, and to make art accessible to everyone.

Participants in the event spent Huobi tokens (HT) worth $64.5 to buy and sell NFT on Huobi Prime. The exchange promises to return these coins to them three days after the sale ends in appreciation for their many years of support. This is according to a press release from the company.

Exchanges support digital art hype
Cryptocurrency exchanges continue to support the hype for digital art and NFT. Most recently, it was announced that the Ukrainian soccer club “Dynamo” will sell tickets for their matches in the form of NFT on Binance NFT Marketplace, which is scheduled to open in June 2021.

In mid-April, analyst platform CoinGecko presented its own platform NFT Spotlight. The platform contains collections of non-interchangeable tokens, as well as top NFT market news. So far, the site presents only a few tokens from the collection of Doctor Who, Veve, R-Planet and others.

Artists are also rushing to capitalize on the haip around NFT. For example, Andrew Brown from South London, known under the pseudonym of Doctor Troller, put up for sale a new collection of 40 works for $ 500 each. The NFT-token animation works were sold out instantly, and the total profit from the sale exceeded $20,000.

Experts believe that the popularity of NFT is temporary, but the hype around digital cards and exclusive items of famous people will contribute to the mass acceptance of the technology as such.
