At the same time, Wu estimates that bitcoin’s proliferation rate will increase: in the next four years, he expects about one billion people to become investors in bitcoins, which will bring the cryptocurrency No. 1 to the stage of the Internet’s development that corresponds to the year 2005.
The growth in the number of digital asset traders on cryptocurrency exchanges has begun to register particularly noticeable growth since December 2020, which is when bitcoin accelerated its price rise. The interest in bitcoin from such investors is related to the increasingly discussed question: which is better in terms of investment, gold or the No. 1 cryptocurrency?
